About Me

Who Am I?
Ever since I was introduced to the world of ‘journalism’ I’ve found myself intrigued by what it takes to become a journalist.
As a teen, I was fascinated by celebrities' activities, and this is where I really got into journalism. Reading showbiz gossip on news websites became a daily occurrence.
The way journalism engages audiences amazes me – headlines such as ‘Taylor and Matt together’ and ‘looks like Ed Sheeran won’t have to retire after all’ capture my imagination – and millions of others’.
It wasn’t until I started researching university courses that I realized how much I wanted to become a journalist.
I want to inspire other people to take it up and make a career out of it.
I want to take the knowledge I have gained in the entertainment and journalism worlds and create something meaningful.
I want to share the stories I’ve heard like the recent Selena and Hailey drama or Taylor Swift's next breakup and be a platform for others to share their thoughts.
My name is Ellie and I come from Northampton where I studied journalism at college where I got to create podcasts and news shows. This gave me first-hand insight into the media world within high-profile companies such as the BBC and ITV. I also developed my interviewing, writing, and research skills.
This is where my admiration for Stacy Dooley comes from. She fought hard for her career, and I strive to do the same in companies such as Empire and Vogue. That is where I will be within the next five years.
This blog will allow you to communicate with me and others about forms of entertainment you may not have explored yet. Here you'll find interviews, reviews, and more.
